I think the biggest error in the way REALTORS® market themselves is we have always put to much emphasis on our ability to find a buyer. The easiest part of selling a house is finding someone who wants to buy it. Once we find that buyer is when our real work and value come into play. We should be selling the services we provide to bring a buyer to the closing table. Many sellers think they can find the buyer on their own. And they are correct. And they think once they have that buyer the work is over. That is where they are incorrect.
