Exploring Seaport Village

You don’t have to walk far to find great shopping, wine tastings, waterfront views, and even photos with Santa! Seaport Village is conveniently located right behind the Hyatt Grand San Diego Hotel. Seaport Village’s website boats 50-plus diverse shops, 17 unique eateries, and outdoor entertainment. I took a quick stroll through the adorable shopping village and saw street artists, taffy pulling, yachts in the harbor, boat rentals, and the gazebo where Santa is available for photos on November 14-15 starting at 11:00 am. Local Author Len Martini will be holding a book signing of his new book Ice X ‘86: Freezing The Cold War at 7:00 pm on November 12. A young piano duo, The Pizarro Bros, will be performing jazz and standards on November 14 at 7:00 pm. You can see a complete listing of entertainment, shops, and restaurants by checking out www.seaportvillage.com.

We were just in San Diego in August, and we went to Seaport Village on the recommendation of a friend. It was my first visit there, and it was pretty cool. Like you said, lots of shopping, restaurants, and there also was a band playing music in an open area. All of this right along the waterfront in San Diego.
