Hello everyone! Most of you are on your way to San Diego or already here! I have been here since Sunday and have compiled a list of MUST-SEE places to go in your free time.

1. Watch the sun set at Sunset Cliffs Park

This is, by far, one of the best places to see the sunset in San Diego. It gets a little windy so bring a jacket!

2. Catch some rays at Mission Beach

There are A TON of things to do in the Mission Beach area! The beach is beautiful. There is an old wooden roller coaster, an arcade, shops, and restaurants.

3. Take a stroll through Balboa Park

Visit the Japanese Friendship Garden, the unique wooden botanical building, or any of the museums. There is something for everyone here!

4. Eat tacos at El Camino in Little Italy

This "hole in the wall" has the freshest and most delicious tacos that I've ever eaten! The margaritas are also FANTASTIC!

5. Enjoy the view at Kate Sessions Park

This is THE BEST view of downtown San Diego, the bay, and the ocean! The park sits on a high hill just 15 minutes outside of downtown. Read a book, take a jog, or just sit and enjoy the sunshine here.

6. USS Midway museum and San Diego Harbor

Thank a veteran here because there are PLENTY of them around this area. This is also another great place to watch the sun set.
